Achille Castiglioni Book

This fabulous small format book is one of my favourite Castiglioni books. Put together by Paula Antonella and Steve Guarnaccia and sponsored by Flos. This book features all of Castiglioni’s key pre 1997 designs with a brief history of the piece and the origins of the design with a drawing by Steven Gaurnaccia. 
 
As curator of Design, Paola Antonella curated an exhibition of Achille Castiglioni’s work at MOMA in 1997. Each item exhibited had a simple text giving the origins and history of the design along with a line drawing by the renowned American illustrator Steven Guarnaccia. This simple presentation was carried through into the book that accompanied the exhibition. Very simple and effective book which gives you the chance to enjoy the work of Achille Castiglioni and Steven Guarnaccia together.
